lunch
yesterdays lunch on a sunny monday on a patio, perfect!
barley’s tofu sandwich with fries on the side
- I only ate half, their portion sizes are so large, that is 3 large stacks of tofu and the fries take up half the plate! I don’t understand why american portion sizes are so big. Ben & I usually share our entrees when we eat out. It’s no secret that portion sizes have been supersized & american-ized, especially in the last 20 years. Just because it’s on the plate, doesn’t mean you have to eat it all. Share with someone or take half home to eat later

lunch today
a veggie burrito: carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, onion, garlic, morningstar soy protein, mixed greens, avocado
This burritio is always so delicious and filling and a great way to get in a lot of mixed vegetables.

weim & cheese
Saturday, Mar 14th, we attended the Weim & Cheese fundraiser. It’s a fundraiser to raise money for our local Weimaraner Rescue, Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue.
I took a pic of the cute centerpieces:

We bid on an espresso basket and won the item! I’m thankful we could attend, because Weimaraners are very important to us. Our Weim, Elijah will be turning 6 years old this May.

sandwich & burrito
Today’s lunch was a tofurky sandwich with a side of roasted red pepper hummus, carrots & pita chips

Dinner was a veggie [cauliflower, cabbage, shredded carrot, garlic, portobello] burrito in a whole wheat tortilla, very hearty & delicious!
