I’d love your feedback, thanks in advance!
Saturday, Mar 14th, we attended the Weim & Cheese fundraiser. It’s a fundraiser to raise money for our local Weimaraner Rescue, Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue.
I took a pic of the cute centerpieces:
We bid on an espresso basket and won the item! I’m thankful we could attend, because Weimaraners are very important to us. Our Weim, Elijah will be turning 6 years old this May.
Sunday was my birthday, and we headed to the slopes at Cataloochee with friends to snowboard. Waking up to snow was incredible, I love love love snow. We had lunch in the lodge, a veggie burger and fries, sorry no pic!
Sunday, Aug. 31st was our sixth year anniversary! We spent most of weekend hiking and in the mountains.

We spend the evening with friends at the Sunsphere and watching the fireworks on top of a roof downtown at another loft. What a great weekend!
Happy World Vegetarian Day! Today is October the first! Can you believe it is October already? Fall is finally here and there is a nice cool breeze outside. Today is a great day to turn over a new leaf, Go Veg and think about how you can become more aware of what you eat everyday.
My favorite book that I read and changed my life was John Robbins, The Food Revolution. Another good book that changed the lives of many of my friends is Kim Barnouin and Rory Freedman’s, Skinny Bitch.
Happy Veg Day to all my veggie friends & family!
I have been on a mini-vacation this week, so sorry I have not updated. We have been house-sitting and I brought my camera, of course, but forgot my camera cord (however I just found one). So, I will have to make some time to upload lots of photos and write up some blog posts.
It’s nice to get away from the city and loft-living and enjoy a yard, trees, a front porch, a garden and nature! And just room to BREATHE :)
My friend, Cassie, has recently gone vegan, Yeah! I finally have a good friend who loves to cook as much as I do, so I mentioned to her that she should start a food blog…and she did, so go visit her blog, Eating Veg. I can’t wait to try out a lot of her recipes, they look so delicious!
